Relief Valve & Check Valve Calibration
Our Extensive Calibration Workshop allows Techwest to set and test relief valves and check valves up to 10,000 PSI. The test gauges on our Panel are all NATA traceable, with the ability to turn around relief valves within 2-3 days of receiving them. Since Techwest is not a NATA certified lab we are able to offer very competitive pricing within the market.

Does it need to be a NATA Test Certificate?
Workshop traceable calibrations:
When a calibration is performed on an instrument that is used for indication purposes only, the UOM (uncertainty of measurement) calculations reported in a NATA certified calibration report is never used as no transfer of its accuracy is ever undertaken. An Instrument that is used for indication and is never used to transfer its accuracies to any other instrument does not need to be NATA certified as the UOM calculations with a NATA Calibration report is never used and meaningless.
Instruments should only be NATA Certified if they are going to be used as references in the transfer of their measurement accuracy to other instruments, but if the instrument is used for indication purposes , like an indication of pressure with a pipeline they will only require traceability to Australian National Standards as any UOM calculations of its accuracy regarding the said Instrument.

Calibration of Pressure Gauges
Techwest have a state-of-the-art Calibration Laboratory and can calibrate and check pressure gauges in any dial size up to 15000 psi pressure. All our comparison gauges are NATA traceable and Techwest will issue a certificate upon a successful check of the gauge from 0 to 100% of the dial range. Turnaround on this service is usually 24 hours as we understand that minimising your equipment downtime is our priority.
If you require NATA certification on your pressure gauge Techwest can also organise this on your behalf with just a small service charge. Techwest can even organise removal, collection, delivery and installation of your pressure gauges if required. Should your pressure gauge fail calibration or test Techwest can organise a direct or suitable replacement gauge at very competitive pricing and we can even organise overnight shipping.
